Surgical Service Details:
Plastic Surgery:
Plastic Surgery services include both reconstructive and cosmetic procedures.
Reconstructive surgery includes:
• Repair of congenital issues like cleft lip and palate, craniofacial abnormalities, and hand deformities.
• Reconstruction after trauma or cancer surgery, including breast reconstruction.
• Scar revision and tissue repair to improve function and appearance.
• Microsurgical procedures that involve complex tissue transfer.
• Teamwork with other surgical specialties.
Cosmetic surgery covers:
• Breast reduction and lifting procedures.
• Body contouring procedures such as liposuction, tummy tuck (abdominoplasty), arm lifts (brachioplasty), and thigh lifts.
As this service grows, it will add facial rejuvenation surgeries like facelifts, nose jobs (rhinoplasty), eyelid surgery, and non-surgical treatments like Botox, dermal fillers, and laser therapies.
Urology:
The Urology Department offers diagnostic and treatment services for many urological conditions.
Services include:
• Management of kidney stones, prostate issues, bladder conditions, urinary tract infections, erectile dysfunction, infertility, and urinary incontinence.
• Minimally invasive urological procedures such as laparoscopic and endoscopic techniques.
• Pediatric urology services.
• Urologic oncology care for prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers. Care focuses on the patient, with a strong emphasis on education and teamwork with other medical specialties when needed.
Neurosurgery:
Neurosurgery services treat conditions that affect the brain, spinal cord, peripheral nerves, and related parts of the nervous system.
Services include:
• Brain and spinal trauma surgery – Treatment of injuries to the brain and spine.
• Brain tumor surgery – management of tumors in the brain.
• Spine surgery – Treatment of spine disorders such as disc problems, nerve compression, and instability.
• Peripheral nerve surgery – Surgery to repair or relieve pressure on nerves outside the brain and spinal cord.
• Neurovascular surgery – Treatment of blood vessel conditions affecting the brain and spine such as aneurysms and hemorrhages.
• Pediatric neurosurgery – Surgical care for children with brain tumors, congenital conditions, and epilepsy.
As a teaching hospital, the neurosurgery service engages in research aimed at improving treatments and outcomes.
General Surgery:
The General Surgery Department offers a broad range of surgical services for both elective and emergency conditions.
Services include:
• Gastrointestinal surgery, including appendectomy, gallbladder removal (cholecystectomy), hernia repair, gastric procedures, and bowel surgeries.
• Colon and rectal surgery.
• Minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Specialized services include:
• Breast Clinic: Screening, diagnosis, and management of breast issues.
• Combined Oncology Surgery Clinic: Collaborative surgical care for cancer patients.
Breast Surgery services provide comprehensive multi-disciplinary care for Benign and Malignant Breast Diseases via our specialized Breast Clinic.
Services available:
• Screening for Breast Cancer including Clinical Breast Examination, Digital Breast Tomosynthesis (3D Mammography), Breast Ultrasound, and Breast MRI
• Management and routine follow up of benign breast conditions such as Cysts, Fibroadenomas, Fibrocystic Disease
• Management of breast infections such as Mastitis and Breast Abscess
• Breast Cancer Diagnosis with Ultrasound Guided Core Needle Biopsy
• Multidisciplinary Breast Tumor Board with weekly discussions
• Breast Cancer Surgery including Excision biopsies, Breast Conserving Surgery, Oncoplastic Breast Surgery, Modified Radical Mastectomy, Sentinel Lymph Node Biopsies and Axillary Node Dissections
• Breast Cancer Tumor Localization technology allowing for Breast Conserving Surgery after Neoadjuvant Chemotherapy
• Breast Cancer Navigator and Survivor Support Group

Orthopedics:
The Orthopedics Department treats a variety of musculoskeletal conditions with both surgical and non-surgical methods.
Services include:
• Primary and revision joint replacement surgery.
• Trauma surgery.
• Surgery for hand, shoulder, hip, knee, foot, and ankle conditions.
• Spine surgery.
• Pediatric orthopedic issues.
• Management of sports injuries.
• Surgery related to infections and tumors.
• Microvascular orthopedic procedures.
• Pelvic and Acetabular Surgeries.
As the department expands, it plans to include robotic-assisted knee replacement and endoscopic spine surgery.

Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm for outpatients and 24/7 for emergency, dedicated to serving our community with expertise and commitment.
